MARIKO MORI

Mariko Mori was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1967. Before stepping into the art scene, in the late 80s she worked as a fashion model, while studying Fashion Design at the Bunka Fashion College, Tokyo (1986-1988). She moved to England in 1988 to study at the Byam Shaw School of Art (1988-1989) and Chelsea College, London (1989-1992). In 1992 she started an Independent Study Program at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York.

LUCA TREVISANI

Luca Trevisani was born in Verona, Italy, in 1979. In 2003 he graduated in Art History in Bologna. In 2005 he attended “Matrioska”, workshop with Tobias Rehberger at the Milan Domus Academy and the Advanced Course in Visual Arts at the Fondazione Antonio Ratti, Como. In 2007 he was awarded the Furla Prize for the Arts and an artist residency at the Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin. The winning artwork was acquired by MAMbo – Museo d’Arte Moderna Bologna.

The name "Cracking Art" derived from the English verb to crack = fissure, break, crash, snap, pop, collapse.

CHARLOTTE MUMM

Charlotte Mumm was born in 1980 in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. She studied from 2000 to 2007 at Kunsthochschule Kassel, and graduated in 2008 as Master Student of Professor Urs Lüthi, Swiss photographer and painter of International fame. She also spent one year in China, at the Sichuan Fine ArtsInstitute in Chongqing. Solo exhibitions have been held in Germany (but you are beautiful - that compensates for your laziness in 2010 at the Galerie Tanit was her first great solo show in Munich), Italy, China, Serbia and Holland.
